- Do I need a referral? If you have been referred by your GP under the Enhanced Primary Care program, you will need the written referral from the GP. However if you are a private patient you DO NOT need a referral letter to be treated. Do I need to bring anything? Depending on what your presenting complaint is, you may need to bring some items along to the consultation.
- If you have a history of foot and ankle pain and have had x-rays/ultrasounds, orthotic devices or any medical reports describing your condition please bring them along. These will help with the treatment of your pathology. If you have any referral's from your General Practitioner, Medical Specialist or Allied Health Practitioner, please bring those along.
- Referral letter / report
- Private health care card
- Previous orthotics / insoles
- X-ray's, ultrasounds or any other imaging results
- Most worn work, sports and casual footwear.
How can I pay?
If you are visiting under the Enhanced Primary Care program (EPC) and are a pensioner/senior then you don't need to pay any GAP as we BULK BILL for pensioner's and seniors, however if you don't fit within this catagory then a gap fee will be added. If you are visiting as a private patient then the consult fee can be paid by either cash or card. If you have private health insurance then we can claim this on the spot during the appointment.
