Children's feet

A child's first few steps can be very exciting as parents and a milestone to remember; however it is important to know that their feet constantly develop and change especially at a young age. Incorrect footwear and socks can easily damage their growth and development. Some common concerns parents typically realise with their child's feet and legs are flat feet, knocked knees, in-toeing and toe walking. If you believe your child has any of these symptoms, book an appointment with our podiatrists for assessment of your child's feet. Our Role as Podiatrists: Our podiatrist will provide you with advice on appropriate footwear to wear for school, sports, casual and home. We will also conduct some assessments and inform you if your child's "flat feet" or "in-toeing" is normal at their stage of their lives or whether they require further treatments such as orthotics.
